It all began in Pittsburgh … an 8 year old in pig tails… evaluating the TV Guide’s Fall TV Preview Issue. One Day at a Time … Laverne and Shirley … The Jeffersons … Who were these people? How + Why were these series produced? And did it really make sense having The Facts of Life leading out of Real People? Fast forward to college … interning at NBC in Program Scheduling… the year that a couple of small series were announced at the Upfronts … Friends and ER. That was it. I was hooked.
My early love for TV and desire to understand (and critique!) the strategy behind each timeslot turned into a career driven by passion, contribution, partnerships, problem solving … ever-present curiosity … and a highly developed + accomplished eye for strategy. Creating content experiences that delight, enlighten, educate, inspire and entertain … that is the name of my game as these are the precise elements that lit a fire in this girl years ago. And years later, I continue to be inspired by my colleagues who create this content and the platforms that deliver these gems to audiences around the world. Whether Linear, FAST, SVOD, AVOD … successful platform, content and strategy development require an eye adept in creativity as well as analysis … the ability to land the short term wins while growing toward an ultimate vision … a deep understanding of media consumption and how to attract and grow audiences … the ability to develop and motivate a team that is poised to evolve as business needs change … and a seasoned line-up of partners and colleagues that continues to expand with each new endeavor.
This is what 25 years get you … from NYC to LA, Miami to Bogota. It is my intention to bring my deep and broad leadership in developing successful content experiences domestically and internationally to my clients, building a partnership that ensures their success in this ever-evolving, growing, competitive and exciting industry.

Desdemona (aka, Desi) is, well, let’s be honest … She is The Boss. The Queen of her Pride. She is sweet and cuddly on the outside, sure … but don’t let her adorable looks fool you. Desi possesses the spirit of a lioness … protective and discerning … she rules with an iron paw and takes great pride in all she does. Desdemona requires her subjects to call her by the title of “Your Excellence” because she settles for nothing less - which should come as great comfort to Ivy Lane Media’s clients. Not surprisingly, all deliverables must be purrfect … if not, the claws WILL come out! But… they will surely be retracted with a good chin scratch.
